Nolan Dubeau - Creative Director, Interactive

Nolan Dubeau began his career working in interactive in 1996 as an intern with TSN- The Sports Network, designing and maintaining news sites for broadcast events such as Tour de France and X-Games. After graduating from Ryerson University's New Media program in 1999, Nolan co-founded Lavapants, a design and development studio focused on creating engaging new ways of viewing and distributing Canadian short film on the internet.

In 2000 Nolan founded Maracca New Media Group, and while continuing to work with the Lavapants team, co-developed the award-winning website for Industry Films (Best Commercial site, Flash-In-The Can 2001, Gold - New Media Marketing Magazine awards, Technical Merit & Video - Powered By Detroit), which has also been showcased in publications such as Communication Arts and Applied Arts- 2003 Top Creative.

In 2001 Nolan joined Toronto-based Electramedia where he spent a year and a half working with international clients such as Mercedes-Benz Canada, JDSU Uniphase Corporation and CRYPTOCard Corporation developing content management systems and enterprise-level intranet/security applications.

As principal and lead developer of Maracca New Media Group, Nolan has worked for clients such as Rogers Communications, St. Joseph Communications, Toronto Life Magazine, Celestica, Industry Films, Moss Beach Homes, and Canadian Association for Community Living.
